Sauna Chromotherapy

Chromotherapy also called Colour Light Therapy, is the use of colour and light to gently bring about homeostasis. The colored light is visible inside the sauna which allows the brain to assess the effects on the human body and mind.

The earth, the oceans, in fact every living thing is dependent upon light for its very existence. A recent scientific study disclosed that each cell in the humain body emits light. We live in a sea of energy and our bodies are composed of energy. Colour works through and in us, in every nerve, cell, gland and muscle. Within our body, our organs, muscles, cells and nerves all have a level of vibration. When our body becomes out of balance, disease occurs. Each colour has its own frequency and vibration. Through extensive research, we know that colour and light will help bring our physical and emotional systems into balance.

At Montreal Sauna we use seven different types of lights in our saunas:

Orange:: Orange is warm, cheering and non-constricting. It stimulates creative thinking and enthusiasm. Orange signifies joyfulness, warmth and happiness.

Yellow: Yellow helps strengthen the nerves and the mind. Yellow signifies mental energy, creativity, concentration.

Green: Green is the colour of Nature and the earth.Green signifies balance of thoughts, healing and feelings.

Turquoise: Turquoise will increases intuition and sensitivity. It builds the skin and relaxes sensations of stress.

Blue: Blue is cooling; electric, astringent. Blue signifies deep inner peace, calming, relaxing and serenity.

Purple: The colour Purple are colours of transformation. Purple is a whole body cleanser or purifier. Helps to promote healthy sleeping patterns. Purple signifies spiritual awareness, meditation, intuition and spiritual healing.

Red: Red brings warmth, energy and stimulation .It energizes all organs and the senses. Red raises blood pressure and releases adrenaline. Red signifies energy, passion, enthusiasm, vitality.
